Through independent research, I found that Instagram Stories perform a distinct role from feed content; they're most effective for engaging current followers rather than attracting new ones. I identified that the strongest-performing stories were built around FOMO, genuine behind-the-scenes moments, community-driven posts, and real studio photography rather than heavily graphic, text-focused designs. I compiled these insights and presented them to the team, giving the interns a data-informed understanding of why certain story approaches outperform others and how to shift their content accordingly.
